히피한남 갤러리는 2월 21일부터 3월 14일까지 룡보이 개인전 <ME, RYONGBOY>를 개최합니다. 이번 전시에서는 회화뿐만 아니라 새롭게 선보이는 오브제, 3D 프린팅, 애니메이션 등 다양한 매체를 통해 작가의 작업 세계를 한눈에 엿볼 수 있는 기회를 제공합니다.

<ME, RYONGBOY> 에서는 ‘따뜻한 공룡’이라는 테마를 중심으로, 작가의 순수하고 따스한 상상력이 반영된 작품들을 소개합니다. 네모난 눈을 가진 티라노사우르스 ‘용용이’는 우리가 전통적으로 알고 있는 차갑고 강한 공룡의 이미지와는 다른, 순수함과 따스함을 지닌 존재로 그려집니다. 어린 시절 우리가 꿈꾸던 이상적인 상상 속 공룡은 아니지만, 용용이가 간직한 따뜻함과 사랑스러움은 관객에게 행복과 온기를 선사합니다. 이번 전시를 통해 과거의 꿈과 낭만을 추억하며, 잃어버린 순수함과 사랑을 되찾는 소중한 시간을 경험해 보시기 바랍니다.

Hippie Hannam Gallery is delighted to present the solo exhibition <ME, RYONGBOY> by Ryong-Boy from February 21 to March 14, 2025.

This exhibition offers a chance to experience the artist’s world through various media, including painting, objects, 3D printing, and animation.

<ME, RYONGBOY> is a solo exhibition by Ryong-Boy, centered around the theme of ‘warm dinosaurs,’ showcasing the artist's pure and gentle imagination.

The T. rex 'Yongyongi' with its square eyes, is portrayed differently from the cold and strong image of dinosaurs we traditionally know. Instead, it is a being filled with innocence and warmth. While it may not be the ideal dinosaur we imagined as children, Yongyongi’s warmth and cuteness bring happiness and comfort to the people. Through this exhibition, we invite you to reflect on past dreams and romance, while experiencing a meaningful moment of rediscovering lost innocence and love.
